There is an opportunity now to be there for yourself. There is an opportunity to also be there for others that you care about and for those individuals that depend on you. The journey through life can take us on unexpected paths. Some of this journey causes emotional suffering. However, there is a way out, a way to heal, and a way to improve your quality of life.
Ask yourself the question, do you create your life or do your life experiences create you? Perhaps, it is both, but having the right treatment as well as learning the skills for an emotionally satisfied life will make all the difference. |
I am a clinical psychologist in practice since 2005. My work with clients includes therapy and assessment. I have training in CBT, DBT Skills, and an eye movement therapy to process trauma events as well as difficulties with managing mood. Over the last 6 years, I have extensively worked with individuals in first responder occupations treating trauma and other associated concerns. However, I also have extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, and depression in children, teens, and adults. Supporting parents who have children struggling with behavioural difficulties, is another area of my practice focus.
