Counselling

The rate for all counselling  services is currently $220 per hour, consistent with the 2023 Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA) recommended fee schedule. This rate also applies to services that you might request of your therapist outside of sessions, like letter or report writing, or consultations with a third party (e.g. physician, specialist). Sliding scale rates are available for folks in financial need and without access to extended health benefits.

NIHB Counselling Program

Indigenous clients with a Client Identification Number (e.g. status or treaty card) may be eligible for coverage for up to 22 counselling hours per 12 month period, billed directly to NIHB. Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for NIHB reimbursement and may result in the total session fee (up to $187).

Adult Assessment

The total cost for an adult mental health assessment typically ranges from $260 to $480 (or more depending on the length of time it takes to complete). This includes a one-time disbursement fee for the specialized Clinical Interview online assessment tool. A retainer deposit of $260 is required to confirm your booking, which is applied to your invoice. Deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of your appointment booking.

Direct Billing

We offer direct billing to Alberta Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross (e.g. VAC, RCMP, CAF), and other insurance providers. Ask us for more information.
