I am a Provisional Psychologist with a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I have worked for over 10 years in various areas of mental health, including individual and group counselling, community outreach, and implementing Client-Centered treatment programs that promote social and psychological wellbeing. For 5 years, I have worked with vulnerable adults, providing housing options, crisis and trauma counselling, and suicide intervention.
More recently, I have focused on working with youth and young adults who have diverse behavioural and mental health concerns, providing support in developing day-to-day living skills, psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused interventions. |
I especially appreciate the power of mindfulness practices that help individuals focus on the present moment, and I enjoy implementing this approach in my practice. I also integrate narrative therapy because I am passionate about storytelling as a creative way to solve problems.
I believe this type of therapy is a powerful tool for empowering individuals to take ownership of their journey, heal, and inspire others by recognizing their resilience and triumphant moments of growth. |
Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.
