Who Is Eligible for VAC-Covered Mental Health Services?
You may qualify for free mental health services through Veterans Affairs Canada if you are:
⚓ A Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)
👮♂️ A former or current RCMP officer (some eligibility via VAC)
🪖 A CAF member who has submitted a disability application related to mental health
VAC coverage begins immediately upon application for conditions like PTSD, anxiety, or depression—no need to wait for approval. We also support RCMP clients connected to CAF service or who qualify through other VAC programs.
