I am a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychologist, registered in Alberta, British Columbia and Yukon. I provide person-centred, trauma-informed care, fostering a therapeutic environment built on trust, empathy, and acceptance.
I offer an integrative approach to therapy for individuals and couples, focusing on emotional connection, attachment, mindfulness, self-compassion, and identifying underlying behavioural and relationship patterns. I help clients navigate concerns such as trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges, tailoring each therapeutic plan to their unique needs. |
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

Welcome! I'm Heather Johnson, and I'm delighted to share a little about my journey both personally and professionally. As a person-centered therapist, I believe deeply in the human capacity for growth and change, and it is truly an honor to bear witness to my clients' most vulnerable stories. My aspiration is to create a warm, approachable, and validating space, where we can explore challenging topics and experiences without hesitation.
My roots are firmly planted in Alberta, where I grew up amidst the expansive landscapes that ignited my lifelong love for the outdoors. With my grandparents being ranchers, I spent countless hours immersed in nature, fostering a deep connection to the natural world that continues to inspire me. |
