Headshot of Fatima Noorali
Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or struggling with low confidence during pregnancy, postpartum, or fertility challenges?

Do you find yourself constantly doubting your worth, comparing yourself to others, or feeling like you’ve lost a sense of who you are?

I understand these feelings deeply and am here to support you. Through my own lived experience with fertility challenges, a difficult pregnancy, and having a baby in the NICU, I know how emotionally complex and overwhelming this journey can be. I understand how discouraging it can feel to lose trust in your body and your sense of self, and I am passionate about helping you reconnect, rebuild, and regain that sense of control.
Through personalized strategies and creative approaches, I will guide you in building a toolbox of techniques to reduce stress, reframe negative thinking, improve body image, and cultivate self-compassion. I’ll work with you to explore your strengths, set healthy boundaries, and develop more supportive and empowering thought patterns. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, using open-ended questions and interactive activities to help you gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of self.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy arts and crafts, travelling, journaling, and spending playful moments with my baby.

A little about me.

Headshot of Fatima Noorali
Through my personal experience, specialized skill set, and over 12 years of rich counselling experience working with diverse populations, I have supported clients navigating challenges related to self-esteem, body image, fertility concerns, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and personal development. I also help clients with emotional regulation, grief and loss, confidence, imposter syndrome, anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, and depression. Through my own lived experience with fertility challenges, a difficult pregnancy, and having a baby in the NICU, I bring a deeper level of empathy and understanding to this work, particularly when supporting individuals who may feel disconnected from their bodies or uncertain in their sense of self.
I also provide psychotherapy services to BIPOC populations and understand how important cultural self-awareness is in the work I do. I believe that taking one's culture and personal values into account is like viewing an iceberg. Many people take a surface look at how culture impacts them yet expect to see the entire picture. The iceberg metaphor helps us recognize what lies beneath the surface, including life experiences, identities, beliefs, and relational patterns, all of which shape how we see ourselves—especially during vulnerable transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, or fertility struggles.

As a therapist, I believe in the power of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and rebuilding trust in yourself and your body. I support clients through self-exploration and growth using a multicultural, non-judgmental, compassionate, and anti-oppressive lens. I aim to understand your experiences within the context of your environment, relationships, and upbringing. Through both my professional and lived experiences, I understand how discouraging it can feel to lose your sense of identity or purpose, and I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and person-centered space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself.

In short, I believe that an effective therapeutic relationship is built on curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to explore deeper layers while recognizing your inner strengths. These elements are essential in helping you move toward healing, self-compassion, and a more empowered version of yourself.

I also work with new comers to Canada with direct-billing to IFHP, providing one-on-one support for mental health assessment and counselling.
